To serve low income and first generation students from Brooklyn and in four Manhattan high schools, and to facilitate their successful transition from high school to graduate school academically and socially.
The goal of the Center for Urban Education's (CUE) program is to provide financially viable access to post-secondary education, and retention to graduation based on appropriate fit for post-secondary applicants from inner cities, as well as low-income and/or first generation applicants, ethnic minority applicants, and homeschooled applicants. The program also provides professional development in college counseling.
