Program Description:
Expect Excellence best describes the (CAAP) Council of African American Parents' expectation of its student scholars. The program is a college preparatory schema based solely in academics, test preparation, study skills, cultural enrichment, self-awareness and confidence building from 6th through 12th grade. In its 20-year history over 2,000 students have come through the CAAP/PALS program and have gone on to Medical, Law and impressive Graduate programs across the country and abroad. The recent addition of our Elementary Program allows us to now serve student scholars 4rd grade and up. CAAP is a non-profit organization.
Mission Statement:
Our mission to enhance the educational opportunities of students through academics, social activities and cultural awareness remain at the forefront of our organizational agenda. Our menu of services for scholars and parents is reflected in our ability to develop and implement programming that supports our mission.
