Rising sophomores take Biotechnology and Latin/Greek, rising juniors take Chemistry, and rising seniors take Physics. All students also take Mathematics and English. The rising seniors also visit colleges for an additional week. Students are recruited during the 9th and 10th grade and are invited to return each year based on their performance.
