GET ME TO COLLEGE is created for and by first generation and other under-represented college students. We know first-hand about the obstacles many young people face on their paths to college. We are here to guide them through the entire college admissions process. Based on Los Angeles, Dr. Rebecca Joseph, the program's founder runs the website, coordinates and offers free workshops on college readiness, and trains urban teachers and counselors. GET ME TO COLLEGE gives presentations at schools, TRIO programs, non-profits, libraries, and conferences. In additional to promoting college access and success, GET ME TO COLLEGE keeps a list of colleges that offer free fly-in programs and offers free resources to promote college access and success.
