During the 1940s, a group of men and women from Colorados Latino community came together to create an organization to ensure their children and future generations of Latinos would be able to obtain an education.

Our mission has never wavered in the last 63 years. We have remained committed since our inception to serving Latino/Hispanic youth of Colorado, and we look forward to continuing our success for years to come! Providing Access to Higher Education for Hispanics in Colorado.

The Latin American Educational Foundation advances the educational leadership and economic status of all Hispanics to the improve the greater community. LAEF has found success in reaching these goals through: •Our continuous growth of our scholarships program •Establishing community collaboration efforts •Developing support programs for Latino/Hispanic students in attaining their college degrees
