The program provides opportunities for participants to succeed in their precollege performance and ultimately in their higher education pursuits. Upward Bound serves: high school students from low-income families; and high school students from families in which neither parent holds a bachelor's degree. The goal of NMC Upward Bound is to increase the rates at which participants from the Omaha area complete high school and enroll in and graduate from post-secondary education programs. -After School Tutoring and Mentoring Program -Tutorial services -Test preparation and study skills -Individual and group academic and career advisement -Exposure to the range of career options especially those where program participants are under represented -One-on-one mentoring with a Teacher Mentor -Exploratory Seminars
