It is designed to instill in low-income, first-generation students the skills and motivation to increase their high school, college-going, and college graduation rates. Meet specific benchmarks relative to six standardized objectives: academic performance (GPA), academic performance on standardized tests in math and reading, secondary school retention and graduation (regular secondary school diploma), secondary school graduation (rigorous secondary school program of study), postsecondary enrollment, and postsecondary completion.
