College Success Foundation - District of Columbia (CSF – DC) is a nonprofit that opened its doors in 2007 to serve low-income students and students of color in Wards 7 and 8 in our nation's capital. CSF – DC is a subsidiary of the College Success Foundation. With a significant grant from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, it assists students in six high schools by providing scholarships, support and mentoring to help them earn a college degree.

The College Success Foundation (CSF) has over 10 years of proven experience, inspiring underserved, low-income students to finish high school, and providing the unique integrated system of supports and scholarships they need to graduate college and succeed in life.

CSF – DC focuses its work in four areas: Early Engagement in Middle School and Early High School High School Advising and Mentoring College Scholarships and Mentoring Career-Planning and Post-Graduation Advising In addition to operating its scholarship and support programs, CSF – DC oversees the Double the Numbers (DTN) initiative in the District of Columbia. The Double the Numbers coalition represents an unprecedented commitment by DC community leaders to ensure that many more DC students succeed in college.
