Its mission is to promote and nurture the next generation of faculty, researchers and scholars by providing academic, social and financial support.
Objectives:
The McNair Scholars Program is an academic enrichment, graduate school preparation initiative. McNair scholars are matched with research mentors and receive fellowships to pursue research projects during the academic year and/or the summer following the sophomore or junior year. McNair Scholars also receive assistance in researching, selecting and applying to graduate schools.
