Program Description:
College Success Foundation - District of Columbia (CSF DC) is a nonprofit that opened its doors in 2007 to serve low-income students and students of color in Wards 7 and 8 in our nation's capital. CSF DC is a subsidiary of the College Success Foundation. With a significant grant from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, it assists students in six high schools by providing scholarships, support and mentoring to help them earn a college degree. In addition to operating its scholarship and support programs, CSF DC oversees the Double the Numbers (DTN) initiative in the District of Columbia. The Double the Numbers coalition represents an unprecedented commitment by DC community leaders to ensure that many more DC students succeed in college.
