Program Description:
Get2College is Mississippi's nonprofit resource for college access information and counseling. Counselors provide one-on-one counseling for students and parents including career exploration, college choice, scholarship search, and hands-on completion of applications for admission and financial aid. The Get2College Outreach team presents workshops in Mississippi's high schools on topics ranging from college planning timeline to scholarships and financial aid. ESF also holds Saturday and summer workshops on ACT Prep and evening workshops on college planning for parents. During February and March, ESF hosts FAFSA Days in the high schools providing one-on-one hands-on assistance completing and submitting Federal and State financial aid forms. We also provide $50,000+ in scholarships annually.
