About:
Program Description:
New Pathways for Youth (formerly Greater Phoenix Youth at Risk) was founded in 1987 and granted non-profit 501(c)(3) status in 1989. Throughout its history, New Pathways for Youth has developed and acquired programs that transform the lives of Phoenix area at-risk youth through the power of mentoring. New Pathways for Youth has occupied its building on 10th Street and Pierce in the Garfield Neighborhood in Central Phoenix since 1995, through a grant from the United Parcel Service. In 2012, the Board of Directors voted to rename the organization New Pathways for Youth to more accurately reflect the mission of the organization and the youth that are served. Since 1987, New Pathways for Youth has positively impacted the lives of more than 3,500 at-risk youth, with dramatic and demonstrable success.
