KIPP Austin Public Schools is part of the nationally recognized âKnowledge Is Power Programâ network of free, open-enrollment, college-preparatory public schools dedicated to preparing students in underserved communities for success in college and in life. KIPP Austin is a network of 7 schools serving more than 2,000 students in east Austin. With 93 percent of the Class of 2012 matriculating to college, KIPP Austin continues to prove that demographics do not define destiny.
