Program Description:
Launch U workshops address the challenges our scholars will face upon entering college. Each workshop targets the scholar’s needs by providing the resources, knowledge, and mentorship needed for success. By doing so, our scholars graduate with the fundamental confidence and skills that break the trend of our nation’s educational inequality. Our scholars are living proof that with preparation and mentorship, education Founded in 2005, Launchs network now includes over 300 young professionals from a wide variety of backgrounds, including Finance, Advertising, Marketing, Consulting and Education and from the leading firms in the region. Launchs mentors are drawn to our program because it is extremely flexible and time-efficient but more importantly enables them to provide a major impact in their mentee growth and success.

Mission Statement:
Launch U connects motivated urban scholars with committed young professionals to provide one-on-one mentorship throughout the college process.
Objectives:
Objectives/Program Goals: The Launch U Program is designed to prepare each scholar for the challenges they may face in their post-secondary endeavors. Together, scholars and mentors participate in monthly workshops in order to meet college application deadlines in the fall and focus on professional preparation in the spring. With the unique support of our one-on-one mentorship and college preparation program, Launch U has a 100 percent success rate of enlisting our scholars into college. At Launch U, we provide our scholars with the necessary skills and support needed for college enrollment and graduation.
