Talent Search is a federally funded Program that is housed on the New Jersey Institute Of Technology Campus. It is a Pre-College Program that is designed to encourage youths to take an active interest in developing and pursuing academic, career, and personal goals. High school students work to prepare for college or a career of their choice. It is the intent of the program to have the student enroll in Talent Search as a 6th grader and continue on through our program until high school graduation. Through the combined efforts of our Talent Search staff, Newark Public Schools, parents, and students, our program participants will get an important head start on learning about college and career opportunities.

We provide students with the necessary skills and motivation needed to achieve academic success, graduate from middle and high school, and eventually enter college, trade school, or some form of post secondary training.
