Program Description:
Established in 1980, Notre Dame's Talent search is a college access program that provides academic, career, and financial counseling to South Bend youth in grades seven through twelve empowering them to graduate from high school and continue on to complete their postsecondary education.

Through tutoring, mentoring, academic counseling, career exploration, cultural enrichment, and community service. Notre Dame's TRiO Programs will recognized as a national leader offering unsurpassed learning opportunities that help students overcome social, cultural, economic and academic barriers to higher education.
Objectives:
1) 93% of non-senior participants will complete the current academic year and continue in school for the next academic year, at the next grade level. 2) 90% of seniors will graduate with a regular diploma in the standard number of years. 3) 90% of senior will complete a rigorous secondary school program of study and graduate with a regular secondary diploma in the standard number of years. 4) 75% of participants who have graduated high school will enroll in an institution of higher education in the fall term immediately following high school.
