Program Description:
The Vickery Meadow Youth Development Foundation’s mission is to make Vickery Meadow a great community and to help its children reach their full potential. To help fulfill that mission, Eagle Scholars was formed. Eagle Scholars is a college-readiness program that selects 30 graduating 6th graders each year based on their grades and interest in college, moves with them throughout their middle and high school career, and continues to offer support throughout college. Parents and students are equipped with the social, emotional, and academic preparation needed to prepare them to go to and get through college.

To encourage EAGLE Scholars to dream and envision who they can and will one day become and provide them with the tools to make it happen.
Objectives:
Equip students with the knowledge needed to choose a college that fits their interests and situations. Connect students to resources that provide them with robust experiences that prepare them for college and life. Expose them to career opportunities to help them gain a better understanding of what they want to be.
