About:
Program Description:
Project Upward Bound is a federally funded program that prepares the high school students of today to become the college students of tomorrow. We achieve this by sharpening students' skills, introducing them to a variety of cultural and social activities, and providing them with personalized academic advancement. East Stroudsburg University became a host university to Project Upward Bound in 1975 and is one of 772 colleges and universities in the United States to host such a program. The program currently recruits from schools within a tri-county area (Monroe, Northampton, and Lehigh) and serves approximately 75 students a year.
