Program Description:
TRiO Educational Talent Search Scholars Program is a college access program. The program is designed to assist 9-12th grade students with pre-college programming, including academic mentoring and personal coaching/course advising; test preparation; FAFSA completion; additional workshops, e.g., study skills, time management, and general college and career readiness. Participants are also encouraged to take advantage of free college visits. This scholars program serves more than 800 students annually, of which 2/3 are first-generation and students growing up in low-income households. High success rates are reported for persistence in high school, graduation from high school and for post-secondary enrollment each year.

The mission of the TRiO Educational Talent Search Scholars Program is to provide pre-college preparation and access to post-secondary enrollment.
