Program Description:
Access Opportunity was founded in 2014 as a college and career prep program for under-resourced youth to gain the skills, education, experiences, and network necessary to launch themselves into impactful careers. We are a high-touch and long-term program for talented low-income students in the Denver Metro area.

Mission Statement:
Our mission is to create opportunities for high-potential, low-income students to define their individual path through high school, college and career, ultimately benefiting the lives of others. We do this by supporting the most talented low-income students who have power to make great impact, focusing on their individual needs and career dreams.
Objectives:
Our goal is that our high-touch services can be delivered to 120 students per year and up to 240 parents/guardians. Our current programs include: ACCESS COLLEGE: 10th through 12th grade We help our students enroll in their best-fit college through individualized college counseling, academic and test prep tutoring, and leadership development. ACCESS CAREER: After high school graduation through college We support our students through a four-year college, help open doors to internships and careers, and provide $10,000 for college or career-related expenses. FAMILY ENGAGEMENT We partner with families on guiding their student’s college and career decisions and provide a bilingual college, career, and financial planning program.
